The Chief Minister shared plans to improve Hyderabad and Telangana. The government aims to make the city cleaner by replacing 3,200 buses with electric ones and promoting electric cars. They are also working to clean and restore the Musi River and planning for the city's water needs in the future.
For better transportation, Telangana is building the Regional Ring Road and connecting it to the Outer Ring Road with radial roads.
These new roads will help industries like pharma, life sciences, and electric vehicles grow in the area.
Revanth Reddy also requested the Prime Minister to help build a Regional Ring Rail around the 360 km ring road. The government wants to create special industrial zones like Light City, Marble City, and Furniture City to boost the economy.
Once the Regional Ring Road is completed, 70% of Telangana will become urbanised.
At the same time, the government is focusing on improving rural areas by supporting organic farming and building warehouses and cold storage for farmers.
Lastly, the Chief Minister mentioned plans to set up a dry port to connect with Machilipatnam Port and create more job opportunities. He encouraged the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to work with the government to help these plans succeed.
